SCOPE:
We have a current opportunity available for a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer at our headquarters in Cleveland, OH. The primary responsibility for this position will include performing detailed phases of design engineering work (Mechanical) for projects of moderate size and complexity in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering degree with 8+ years of experience in the building and construction industry.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Independently performs detailed phases of design engineering work (Mechanical )for a projects of moderate size and complexity in the construction industry. 
• Specifically designs HVAC systems for industrial projects including selection of optimum system type, calculations for heat/cooling loads, specification of HVAC components, design of ductwork system and accessories. 
• Would act as lead engineer for a project under the direction of the Mechanical Chief. 
• Review the work of other mechanical projects to ensure accuracy and quality of finished set of drawings.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must have a Mechanical Engineering degree with 5+ years of experience in the building and construction industry. PE preferable. 
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2011. Revit experience is preferable. 
• Knowledge of plumbing, process piping and fire protection is a plus. 
• Detailed oriented to ensure the accuracy of work while being mindful of impending deadlines.
• Should be a good communicator and able to collaborate with all other disciplines to create constructible designs.
