SCOPE: 
We have a current opportunity available for a Structural Engineer at our headquarters in Cleveland, OH. The primary responsibility for this position will include performing structural design engineering work for projects of moderate size and complexity in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree with a Structural emphasis plus 2 years of experience in the building and construction industry.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Under moderate supervision performs detailed phases of design engineering work (Structural) for a project of moderate size and complexity in the construction industry. 
• Specifically designing steel, concrete and performing load calculations 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must have a Civil Engineering degree with Structural emphasis and 2+ years of experience in the building and construction industry. 
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2011 preferred. 
• Detailed oriented to ensure the accuracy of work while being mindful of impending deadlines 
• Should be a good communicator and able to collaborate with all other disciplines to create constructible designs
