When The Boeing Company needed a facility to manufacture the largest structural component of its Delta IV rocket — the common booster core (CBC) — it called on The Austin Company for this extremely critical project.

The factory is one of the most technically challenging projects Austin has completed for Boeing and is one of the fastest construction projects for its size in Austin’s history. A demanding 26-month construction schedule required Austin to turn out engineering and construction documents more quickly than ever and to build the facility in record time.
