This $30 million Air Cargo and Trade Center on the east side of Gerald R. Ford International Airport (the former Kent County International Airport) is one component of $300 million worth of capital improvements.
The larger of the two cargo facilities has an area of 120,000 SF. FedEx Corporation is the primary tenant; other tenants are Dynair, Airborne Express and the U.S. Customs Service.
FedEx’s landside facilities include a full-service maintenance bay for servicing ground support equipment such as deicing trucks, tugs, tractors and material handling equipment; a customer service counter; and facilities for trucking packages to other distribution centers |
