San Antonio Aerospace’s (formerly Dee Howard Maintenance Facility) 120,000 SF aircraft maintenance facility consists of a two-bay wide body maintenance hangar capable of servicing two 767 aircraft simultaneously, or a variety of smaller aircraft. Significant infrastructure modifications were required to provide site utilities at this airport site. Over 300,000 SF of aircraft paving provides airport apron access for heavy aircraft.

Underfloor pits in the hangar distribute power, compressed air and 400 Hz electrical service for maintenance functions at each aircraft position. A two-story, 21,000 SF structure adjacent to the hangar houses workshops, offices, breakrooms and other support facilities.
