FOX 49 KPDX, a Fox affiliate television station owned by Meredith Corporation, decided to build a new broadcast center since its leased facility was not capable of supporting the station’s expanding general business requirements or technological advancements in the industry, specifically the switch to digital broadcasting.

The first floor of the two-story broadcast center houses a television studio for live production, a  news/current affairs studio and a flex studio for smaller shows. A 3,800 SF technical center has the capability to support conversion to digital broadcasting.
