This $28 million Engineering Science Building for the California Nano Systems Institute is located on the University of California’s Santa Barbara (UCSB) campus. The three-story building includes Class 1,000 to Class 10,000 clean rooms, multidisciplinary research laboratories, a nanofabrication facility, staff and student offices, and seminar, conference and classroom spaces. The Type I building is primarily a cast-in-place concrete structure with occupancy classifications of B-2, H-6 and H-8.
