The Austin Company engineered and constructed chemical processing lines for the Post Production Services Division of Goodrich Corporation. The lines were installed in an existing facility used to manufacture replacement components for Boeing aircraft no longer in production.

In the chemical processing lines where corrosion-resistant coatings are applied, aircraft parts are immersed into selected tanks, depending on the part and the coating system to be applied. Austin also constructed a chemical milling line in which material is removed from parts by an acid etch process to reduce weight.
