McGill Manufacturing commissioned The Austin Company to design and construct a manufacturing facility to produce ball and roller bearings for the aerospace industry and other applications.
Austin designed and built 124,000 SF of manufacturing space and 22,000 SF of office space. Austin also engineered the process piping, assisted in planning the layout for manufacturing operations, and assisted McGill with start-up.
The facility allowed McGill to make improvements in manufacturing process controls, enabling it to improve its market position as well as enter new markets. |
