When the Mobile Register decided it was time to upgrade operations, they called on The Austin Company to design and build a Greenfield offset printing plant. Located on a 13-acre site, the new facility replaced existing letterpress operations a few blocks away.

The centerpiece of the new plant is a state-of-the-art MAN Roland GeoMAN press, which enhances the Register’s color capability and provides readers with late-breaking news and enhanced graphics.
